There are a few different ways you can make money online. Traditional business usually involves selling one or more products and/or services. You can do this on the Internet too, and many products and services are well suited to this. I will discuss how to set up an online shop in future posts.
However, the main focus of this blog will be on how you can make money without any products. To do this you'll need a website. In essence the key to success is to get a lot of users and readers, and in order to do that you'll need a high quality website with high quality content.

This used to be the hard part for most people. In the not so distant past you'd have to master HTML, and other web technologies in order to create a good looking site. Today there's a lot of tools that help you create good and professional looking websites in minutes.
If you don't have much webmaster experience I suggest you start with one of the free blog services out there like wordpress.com or blogger.com.
